I loved the show Lipstick Jungle while it was on the air. It was very refreshing to see women that represented power and authority so effortlessly, while maintaining their feminine charm. The set design, and fashion were equally appealing.  One of my favorite Lipstick Jungle characters, was Victory Ford. I coveted most of her ensembles, but I couldn't bring myself to entertain some of the price tags that went along with it. Which is why I feel compelled to compile another frugal redux of one of my favorite outfits. While there are slight variations, this compilation captures the overall theme. If you have never seen this episode (Lipstick Jungle - Season 2, "Chapter Fourteen: Let the Games Begin," you need to see it to fully appreciate it - the pictures really don't do the outfit justice. FYI: The last picture is a little fuzzy, but I added it to demonstrate the length of the dress.

dress: American Apparel ($32). This dress isn't actually sold out. I've been told the dress is now sold out. I've added another dress from Old Navy. For a similar fit, I would go with a tighter fit, and have the hem brought up a bit.
shoes: Delicacy Gladiator Sandal by Guess (on sale for $53.59. Reminds me of Camilla Skovgaard's Gladiator seen on Halle Berry and Vanessa Hudgens)
